Huss and Dalton makes some fine guitars by hand in Staunton VA, and I have long been partial to their dreads. This is a TD-R (traditional) customized with a red spruce top, and east Indian rosewood back and sides. Nice herringbone trim and understated appointments, comfortable neck carve and Gotoh 510 open back tuners. Huss dreads are cannons, and this one is no exception. Lifetime warranty and handsome Huss and Dalton tweed case.
Huss sez: “The traditional models are the culmination of our deep respect and appreciation of the pre-war flat tops that are among the most revered instruments in existence. We combine the age-old techniques of construction with our own take on the classic design to produce an instrument of unparalled power and exquisite tone and playability. These instruments feature 25’ radius bracing mated with a traditionally flat top.”
