Here’s a 2014 Martin D-41 that’s about as new as you can get for a non-new guitar … barely played, near mint condition. Great looking sitka top, first-class Indian rosewood back and sides, bone saddle, factory electronics, hexagon abalone inlays on the dark ebony fretboard, scalloped X bracing, satin neck finish, abalone body inlays … as Martin says, “as sumptuous to look upon at as it is to play.” Rings out true, great setup on this one.
Condition: Near-mint; Top: Sitka; Back and sides: East Indian rosewood; Neck: Mahogany, low profile carve; Nut: 1 11/16; Width: 15.5; Depth: 4.5; Scale: 25.4; Binding: white boltaron; Purfling: abalone; Rosette: abalone; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course); retail: $4599
