Here’s a nice 2021 custom Collings 290 DC S with a striking crimson finish upgraded with a tortoise pickguard and truss rod cover. This is a dual cutaway example with a handwound Lollar P-90 pickup, volume and tone control. Pure rock and roll. Collings calls this guitar a modern-day tribute to the original workingman’s rock ‘n roll guitar. You’ll just call it a great guitar. The previous owner swapped the original Lollar P90 for a Lollar 50s wind P90, changed out the original tuners for lighter weight Faber tuners and swapped the original Schaller Signum adjustable tailpiece for a more traditional one. However, all the original parts are included with the guitar, as is the original hardshell case.
