I love small bodied acoustics, and this is one of my favorites. This C10 from Collings offers great tone in a small, comfortable package. Crisp trebles, substantial lows, and beautifully balanced. A great blues guitar, strumming guitar, and equally responsive to some dynamic finger picking, thanks to its narrow waist and small upper bout for focused response, and pre-war scalloped bracing. This example is customized with a 1 3/4 nut, tigerstripe pickguard and a gorgeous dark sunburst. Ebony fretboard, pins and bridge, bone nut and saddle. Collings says this is the ideal guitar for players who switch between electrics and acoustics, because the neck carve is the same rounded profile that you’ll find on the venerable Collings 290 electric, and the heel is small and rounded for excellent access to the upper frets. I agree. Big tone in a small package. Bravo. Lifetime warranty and hardshell Collings case. Serial #34753
