You don’t see these guitars every day, especially left-handed … here is a gently used Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Signature NOS Stratocaster. These guitars are no longer available from the Fender Custom Shop, and they certainly did not make very many lefties when they were available, so here’s your chance at a rare guitar.
Designed in close partnership with David and his longtime guitar tech Phil Taylor, this is a dead-on reproduction of David’s famous Black Strat, heard extensively on Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and his solo work. Nitro finish, one-piece maple neck, custom pickups, David’s custom electronics (including a switch to turn on the neck pickup in any switch position, giving you the option of playing the bridge and neck pickups together, or having all three pickups on at once). Presentation Custom Shop case with a copy of Gilmour’s 3-disc Live in Gdansk CD/DVD package, case candy, strap and certificate of authenticity. The guitar also comes with David’s special shortened tremolo arm and the same Evidence Audio cable he uses.
