The 1960 Telecaster Relic is a faithful recreation of the revered turn-of-the-decade original in all its worn-in glory, built for players who prize a rare glimpse into Telecaster evolution with a few seamless streamlined improvements for a paramount playing experience. The two-piece alder body wears a light Journeyman Relic lacquer finish. A double-A flame quarter-sawn maple neck features a ’60-style “oval C” profile (.790/.930), topped by a 9.5”-radius 9mm flat lam rosewood fingerboard with 21 narrow tall 6105 frets for comfort and optimum play.
Hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups are wound to spec and connected to a three-way switch and modern Tele wiring. Other features include a single-ply 8-hole parchment pickguard, 1960 Tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree. Also includes deluxe hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
