Here is a 2009 Fender Custom Shop 56 Strat, NOS, in nice condition. Nicely figured ash body with a sunburst, nitro finish and a handsome parchment pickguard that offsets the burst. There is some lacquer checking on the back of the guitar; the top is very clean. One finish chip on the fretboard at the 2nd fret treble side but does not affect playability. The guitar has Vintage frets on it, so if you like smaller, faster frets as opposed to the jumbo 6105s found on most Custom Shop Strats, you will like this guitar. Not much information on the build sheet from Fender, but Strats of this era typically had a soft V neck, and this one is comfortable and on the slimmer side. Nice and light at 7 1/4 pounds. Fretboard gauge indicates it is a 9.5 radius. Includes tweed hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
