Here’s a Fender Custom Shop NOS 51 Tele in Nocaster blonde, 51 modified NoCaster wiring — first position is the bridge pickup and you can use what is normally the tone pot to blend in as much neck pickup as you like. Position 2 is the neck pickup, position three is also the neck pickup with some of the highs rolled off, not the dull vintage “bass” setting, but very tasteful and useful, great with overdrive. Pro tip: Park the pickup selector between the first and second position and get both the neck and bridge pickup together. Big ol’ 51 U neck carve, but this one is still nice and light … just under 7 pounds.
