I love Teles with humbuckers at the neck — it’s instant Keef — and this one is no expection. This is a 2020 “Chicago Special” build, lightly used. A Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker at the neck brings the rock, and a handwound bridge pickup potted in lacquer gives you enough bite to match it. Since this is a humbucker equipped Tele, it has a DualStack HS Tele volume pot — unavailable as a lefty pot — so they are wired righty (like a Les Paul). Great Tele through your favorite tube amp. Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, plus the strap and usual extras. Very light Tele — just a hair over 7 pounds. Heavy relic Custom Shop Teles are getting up well over $4000 these days, let alone one with a humbucker, so it’s a nice buy for someone.
