While Fender’s Custom Shop is widely known for their vintage re-creations, the American Custom Series  is the Fender of modern times – and then some. With striking finishes combined with contemporary features and detailed craftsmanship, new American Custom models are not only beautiful to behold, but also highly functional in a pure Fender fashion.

Here we have a beautiful American Custom Strat  with an ash body, roasted maple birdseye neck with a 9.5-12 compound radius, 6105 frets and a comfortable slim 60s Style Oval C carve (.790 – 9.30), strap locks and a contoured heel. A striking aged amber natural finish shows off the grain and is nicely accented with a tortoise pickguard, shell inlays and nitro lacquer. Handwound Custom Shop Fat 64 pickups have vintage mod #2 wiring, a bone nut and 57 style deep body contours. She sings. With hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
