Artisan Burl Tele

The Artisan Maple Burl P-90 Telecaster combines exotic figuring and classic Fender tone into a striking instrument with an extraordinary aesthetic. The rich-sounding two-piece Fiji mahogany body is chambered for thick tone and resonance, with tortoiseshell top binding and a 4A figured maple burl top that swirls with texture unique to each guitar. The roasted 4A flame-maple neck has a 1960-style “oval-C” profile ideal for any playing style, topped by an Macassar ebony fingerboard with a compound radius (9.5”-12”) and 21 jumbo 6100 frets.

The hand-wound ’51 Loaded Nocaster bridge pickup and Custom P-90 neck pickup have three-way switching and dual-stack 250/500k Telecaster wiring that gives each pickup its ideal resistance. (Note that the dual stack wiring is only available as right-handed pots, Gibson style.) Other features include a single-ply tortoiseshell Caballo Tono pickguard, reverse Nocaster bridge with RSD brass saddles, vintage-style tuning machines with rare tortoiseshell buttons, bone nut, and “wing” string tree. Includes strap, deluxe hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
