A new model from Froggy Bottom is something to look forward to, so I couldn’t wait for this one to arrive. It’s an R14, a 14-fret take on the venerable Gibson L-00, featuring a short 24.75 scale, Adirondack spruce top,  gabon ebony fretboard and bar bridge, a modified V neck profile, Waverley 4073 nickel tuners with ivoroid buttons, a gorgeous tobacco burst finish, curly maple binding, and, of course, all the magic and extra sparkle Froggy always packs into their guitars. You won’t be able to put it down, which is why I’m trying to not to pick it up too often. Lifetime warranty and hardshell case.
