Here’s a 2011 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom in a rarely seen cherry finish with gold hardware. The guitar is in excellent condition for a 12 year old instrument, binding is not yellowed, there are a couple of small dents, and a little rash on one side of the guitar, but nothing through the finish. Gold hardware is in remarkably nice condition, as they are prone to wear and oxidation. Lifton style case has some wear. Solid ebony fretboard (verified by Gibson via the serial number, no Richlite here), medium-jumbo frets and Custom Shop case. If you don’t already know, Les Paul Customs are not lightweight guitars, eat your Wheaties. But they bring the sustain and tone. Gibson sez:

“As the flagship model from Gibson Custom Shop, the Les Paul Custom lives up to the high standards set by its 1950s archetype while evolving to a level of tone and performance more suited to today’s musical demands. Beneath the layers of its “tuxedo” appointments lies the crisp, edgy voice of a matched humbucker set, a solid Ebony fingerboard, a long neck tenon for maximum sustain and a two-piece maple top over a solid mahogany body which adds the perfect amount of sonic bite to everything from jazz to hard rock. It sounds as good as it looks, and it looks as good as it sounds!”

Condition: Excellent; Body: Mahogany; Color: Cherry; Pickups: Gibson; Scale: 24.75; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)
