Here’s a rare Gibson Custom Shop R9 1959 Les Paul with made-t0-measure hand picked 5A quilted maple top and finished in factory burst gloss. No pickguard installed. The guitar has Custom Bucker Alnico III unpotted pickups, an Authentic 59 medium C neck carve, hide glue fit top and fingerboard, CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers, paper-in-oil capacitors and historic Lifton style case with all case candy, certificate of authenticity booklet. You seldom see an R9 with a quilt top and very rare indeed to see a lefty. One of the nicest tops I’ve seen on an Gibson.
