I was super excited to become a dealer and order these Iris guitars … hand made in Vermont under the seasoned watch of Adam Buchwald (formerly with Froggy Bottom) and Dale Fairbanks (Fairbanks Guitars), simply yet elegantly appointed with satin finishes, with a nod to vintage depression era flattop tones and at a very reasonable price point.

This is an OG model, customized with a 1 3/4 nut and the all black tuxedo package.  Scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing, a bolt-on mortise and tenon neck, 2 7/32 bridge spacing, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, open pore sating nitrocellulose finish, bone nut and saddle and Golden Age relic brass tuners. With TKL case.

Iris says: “The original Iris that put us on the map: The OG Model. It has a comfortable 25” scale and an equally comfy C-shape neck.”

”Overall, it has a warm and dry voice, with an impressive midrange response. It takes equally well to being strummed with a pick or fingerpicked, in standard or open tunings, and it has a generous amount of headroom and projection.” Acoustic Guitar, July/Aug 2019
