Here’s a new (reliced) Bill Nash T 63 guitar, with an alder body, olympic white finish, Lollar pickups, C neck carve and a lightly reliced finish. Bill buys necks and bodies licensed by Fender and does his own take on these classic instruments, using nitrocellulose lacquer, CTS pots, Sprague orange drop capacitors, Graphtech nut and high quality pickups, then relicing the guitars to varying degrees. As far as relics … personally, I enjoy playing a guitar that feels worn in, and there’s an undeniable advantage to being able to gig with a guitar that you don’t have to worry about putting a scratch on.
