Here’s a rarity from Paul Reed Smith … a one-off special built Custom 24 . This guitar was built for the late David Utter, guitarist for a popular DC area band called Face Dancer. Killer artist grade curly ribbon maple top, very light weight for a PRS, the lightest I’ve seen at just under 7 pounds. Very rare lefty stoptail version of a Custom 24. Hollow J bird inlays in paua abalone, also something not found on lefties. Rosewood fretboard, wide thin neck, upgraded with my favorite 58/15 LT pickups. Excellent condition, a couple of minor blemishes on the back and one near the binding but in terrific shape for a touring artists’ guitar. With hardshell case. Unique guitar, signed on the back of the headstock by Paul Reed Smith himself, just like a Private Stock guitar.
Condition: Used, excellent; Body: Mahogany with figured carved maple top; Neck: mahogany, wide thin carve, rosewood fretboard; Color: Charcoal; Pickups: PRS 58/15 LT; Scale: 25; Lefthanded guitar (of course)
