Here is a stunning Paul Reed Smith Private Stock McCarty 594 Hollowbody II. The guitar has a choice flame maple chevron top with matching back, finished in high gloss nitro, a curly maple neck with a pattern vintage carve,  outline J birds in ivoroid with a matching Private Stock eagle on the headstock, African blackwood fretboard, 2 piece bridge/tailpiece and 58/15 LT (TCI) pickups with pulls on the tone controls for single coil use. The neck, F holes and headstock are bound in curly maple. Very lightweight, the guitar sings when you crank it up. Perhaps the only lefty McCarty 594 hollowbody in existence. With signed certificate and PRS Private Stock fitted case. Could not resist adding the beautiful photos of this guitar from when it was featured on PRS’s Private Stock Friday post.

PRS sez: “The McCarty 594 Hollowbody II brings a new set of features to one of our most beloved models: the Hollowbody II. With fully-hollow construction, the Hollowbody II is a resonant guitar with warm, woody tone. The details carried over from the McCarty 594 model impart vintage character to this already classic instrument. 58/15 LT pickups, which have now been through the TCI (tuned capacitance and inductance) process, ensure that these guitars are clear and musical while dual volume and push/pull tone controls offer plenty of versatility.  Whether you are looking for rich, authentic humbucking tones or nuanced, sweet single-coil sounds, the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II can oblige.”
