The guitar has a beautiful curly maple top and matching back, with a mahogany core, curly maple neck, African blackwood fingerboard, J Bird inlays in Paua abalone with white mother of pearl outlines, and is finished in a stunning Bahama Blue Burst high gloss nitro. The guitar has 59/09 pickups with a piezo bridge. The piezo can be mixed with the 59/09 pickups or sent out a separate jack to an acoustic amp. Endless tone variations. The guitar is a true hollowbody — no centerblock — and it is light, perfectly balanced, and plays like a dream. I selected the woods for this guitar personally.
