Santa Cruz makes a terrific OM, and this deep body custom version has pulled out all the stops.  One of the finest I’ve played. Very alive, great note separation, terrific balance with a little extra low end and, of course, impeccable build quality. This guitar features a beautiful Italian bearclaw spruce top, spectacular cocobolo back and sides (cocobolo is one of my favorite woods for an acoustic), Adirondack bracing, hot hide glue, cocobolo rosette, scalloped bracing, ebony fretboard, nickel Waverleys with ebony buttons, a koa bound headstock and neck and a 1.75 nut. Light for a cocobolo guitar, just a smidge over 4.25 pounds. Lifetime warranty and handsome Santa Cruz case by Ameritage.
