Here is a brand new Martin D-28, lefthanded, of course. The quintessential dreadnought. I loved mine until I replaced it with a D-41 Special back in 2008. Martin sez: "The Martin D-28 has been the quintessential workhorse of music legends like Hank Williams, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and so many more. It’s no surprise because the D-28 is crafted with East Indian rosewood, which is very resonant and offers deep bass and rich overtones. It is a well-balanced guitar for all playing styles. It also combines vintage appointments like open gear tuners, an aged toner top, antique white accents, and a faux tortoise pickguard with a modern neck profile for a fast, comfortable playing experience." • Here is a beautiful new left-handed Martin D-28 Modern Deluxe ... Martin took the Standard D-28 and added, among other things, a VTS top, maple binding, Adirondack spruce forward shifted X bracing, gold hardware, dovetail neck joint and protein glue construction, plus a new neck carve and a stylish abalone Martin logo. Wonderful guitar. Martin sez: "The D-28 Modern Deluxe is a new take on Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction that give it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. The look is unlike anything in our production line to date with European flamed maple binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red dots and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume. And we’ve included a new neck shape that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard. This guitar is anything but standard." (An amusing aside: A long (long) time ago, a couple of decades before I opened a guitar store, I played my first Martin D-28 at local store. The old, grizzled store owner, said, "Son, anyone who calls himself a guitar player needs to own him a Martin D-28." Then he told me I was a idiot for not learning how to play right handed. So I told him to stuff it and bought mine somewhere else. But I loved my D-28 and would still own it today had I not replaced it with a D-41 Special 17 years ago.) Condition: New; Top: VTS spruce; Back and sides: East Indian rosewood; Neck: Mahogany,  vintage deluxe carve; Nut: 1 3/4; Scale: 25.4; Binding: flame maple; Purfling: Herringbone; Rosette: multi stripe; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)
