• Beautiful chocolate sunburst on this 58 Tele, and I love how the ash grain shows through. Lightly reliced and I am always a fan of the Fat 50s wiring on a Fender Custom Shop guitar.
Fender sez: "As the Telecaster progressed through the years there were updates to components, colors, neck shapes and more, but through it all it retained its classic look and signature snappy tone. The ’58 Telecaster Journeyman Relic embodies several of these classic changes in a faithful custom recreation. A two-piece select ash body wears a slightly worn-in Journeyman Relic lacquer finish for the look and feel of a well-played and loved guitar. The one-piece quartersawn maple neck has a 10/’56 “V” profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets. Dual Custom Shop hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups are connected to Fat ’50s Tele wiring and a three-way switch for robust Tele tone and transparent bloom with each note. Other features include a single-ply parchment pickguard, period correct top-load/string-through Tele bridge with threaded steel saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and wing string tree. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity."

  • Probably the most iconic Gibson acoustic, the SJ-200 provides the Gibson sound you know from countless hits, ranging from the Stones to Tom Petty to Elvis himself. A big, beautiful guitar, thin nitro finish and huge tone to match it's super jumbo body. Gorgeous instrument. Rare to see a lefty. One of Gibson’s most storied models, this Historic Reissue instrument is hand-built in Gibson's celebrated Bozeman facility using the finest materials and styled after its late 1930s counterparts. Each is constructed with a select thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top with hot hide glue bracing, rosewood back and sides, and premium ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. These are not easily found, especially as a lefty, so grab this one quick. Or don't, as I am enjoying having it here : ) Martin sez: "The Martin BC-16E acoustic-electric bass brings the low-end to the 16 Series. Handcrafted in our Nazareth factory, this full-scale bass boasts a resonant spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides that offer a well-balanced tone for all playing styles. • Patrick James Eggle builds wonderful boutique instruments in his shop in Oswestry, U.K. He uses the best of everything -- Callaham and Kluson hardware, Gotoh tuners, true lefty pots, Jescar 55090 frets (6105 found on Fenders and Gibsons) -- and does a beautiful thin open pore nitro finish on the swamp ash bodies for great tone on a very lightweight guitar. This example, in black with white grainfill --  is just under 7 pounds. The pickguard is brass with a unique hand patina. Neck is roasted AAA curly maple with a comfortable soft V profile and contoured heel. Patrick also reverses the control plate to make the volume pot more accessible for swells. Artists who have played Eggle guitars include Tommy Iommi, Albert Lee and Rory Gallagher. Handsome grey hardshell case. Just a terrific guitar. Very tempted to keep it for myself. (And maybe I will so hurry before I change my mind ; ) Condition: Mint; Body: Swamp ash; Neck: Roasted AAA maple, soft V profile, 12 radius; Nut: 1.680; Color: open pore grained black; Pickups: handwound Eggle Mojo; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Collings
    D2H

    $5,900.00

Here's a brand new Collings D2H. Nobody makes a more powerful dread than Collings does. I'll let Collings describe it:

"The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, we bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. The wide range of woods and neck sizes offered allow dreadnought fans to find a Collings model ideally suited to their playing style and tonal preference."

  • 1966 was the first full year of the larger headstock on the Stratocaster—a significant enlargement that notably changed the look of the guitar and, many believe, enhanced its resonance. Under new CBS ownership since the previous year, Fender production was still top notch, and the company was still producing highly sought-after, high-quality instruments. The Custom Shop 1966 Strat Deluxe Closet Classic re-creates the sought after large-headstock Strat in detail, with the perfect customizations for players and aficionados alike. The two-piece select alder body wears a polished but slightly aged Deluxe Closet Classic lacquer finish, while the quartersawn maple neck has a ’66 “oval C” profile, 9.5”-radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo (6150) frets for classic comfortable play. Custom Shop hand-wound ’65 Strat gray-bottom pickups (with reverse-wound/reverse polarity middle pickup) deliver thick tone, with Vintage Modified #2 wiring with Tone-Saver bleed circuitry and five-way switching, all on a three-ply parchment pickguard. Other features include a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and wing string tree with nylon spacer. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: Deluxe Closet Classic; Body: Alder; Neck: 5/4 quartersawn maple, 66 Strat Oval C profile (.840-.974), 9.5 radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: 3 color sunburst; Pickups: handwound Vintage 65 Strat; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Here's a beautiful Rick Turner Guitars Renaissance RS6 steel string electric acoustic. I ordered this one with a 1 3/4 nut. The guitar has some nicely figured mahogany back and sides, terrific top, mahogany neck and an ipe (Brazilian walnut) fingerboard. The back of the headstock is signed by the legendary Rick Turner himself. If you play acoustic guitar live, you're familiar with the challenges of getting a natural acoustic tone amplified to stage volumes without being plagued by feedback. All the mics, preamps and EQs in the world are rarely up to dealing with a loud monitor pointing at your soundhole. The thinline RS6 is built like an acoustic but has a mahogany center block to resist feedback. A Turner Timberline bridge pickup feeds a full-spectrum signal to an 18-volt D-TAR preamp with graduated volume and tone controls. The preamp runs off two AA batteries, easily accessible via the back panel. I have tested this at loud monitor volumes and it works great straight into the board. Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) loves his Turner guitars and plays a Renaissance live. These guitars also sound great through a conventional guitar amp. With locking tuners, Access padded case and Timberline electronics. Condition: New; Top: Mahogany; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: Mahogany with ipe (brazilian walnut) fingerboard; Nut: 1 3/4; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

Fenders RSD bridge is a nice improvement over the original spec. Very nice guitar. With hardshell case, strap and lifetime warranty. Condition: New, light relic; Body: Alder; Neck: Riftsawn maple, 62 Jazzmaster profile (.820/.900), 9.5 radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Super faded aged sonic blue; Pickups: handwound Jazzmaster flat magnet; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • I love small bodied acoustics, and this is one of my favorites. This C10 from Collings offers great tone in  a small, comfortable package.  Crisp trebles, substantial lows, and beautifully balanced. A great blues guitar, strumming guitar, and equally responsive to some dynamic finger picking, thanks to its narrow waist and small upper bout for focused response, and pre-war scalloped bracing. This example is customized with a 1 3/4 nut, tigerstripe pickguard and a gorgeous dark sunburst.  Ebony fretboard, pins and bridge, bone nut and saddle. Collings says this is the ideal guitar for players who switch between electrics and acoustics, because the neck carve is the same rounded profile that you’ll find on the venerable Collings 290 electric, and the heel is small and rounded for excellent access to the upper frets. I agree. Big tone in a small package. Bravo. Lifetime warranty and hardshell Collings case. Serial #34753 Condition: New; Top: Select sitka spruce; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: Mahogany, medium-fat C neck carve; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 14 3/4; Depth: 4 1/4; Scale: 25.5; Binding: Grained ivoroid; Purfling: b/w wood; Rosette: Ivoroid; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Here's a new Huss and Dalton Traditional OM in east Indian rosewood with a thermo-cured (torrified) sitka spruce top, Gotoh 510 tuners and a handsome tweed case. Always one of my favorites OMs, and the build quality is second to none. Everybody knows that like a fine wine, well-kept acoustic guitars get better with age. The passage of decades cures the wood through exposure to light and air. Huss and Dalton now offers sitka spruce that has been “torrified,” or exposed to a careful heating process that achieves the same results that occur naturally over time. The wood appears darker, as vintage guitars do, and it is lighter and stiffer. But how does it sound? Amazing, in a word. Condition: New; Top: Sitka spruce, torrified; Back and sides: East Indian rosewood; Neck: Mahogany; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 15 1/8; Depth: 4 1/8; Scale: 25.4; Binding: Tortoise; Purfling: b/w/b; Rosette: b/w/b; Lefthanded guitar (of course)

  • I love Teles and it's alway cool when Fender builds one with a different twist to it. Here is a Thinline P90 relic in a chocolate 3 tone sunburst with some cool features ... Fender Custom Shop P90 at the neck and handwound 51 loaded NoCaster pickup at the bridge gives some great tonal options. A compound 7.25-9.5 radius gives you the best of both worlds up and down the neck, and the fat offcenter V profile brings the tone with medium vintage frets. The hollow body with an F-hole keeps the weight down --  Nice and light at 6 3/4 pounds. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: New, relic; Body: Ash; Neck: Maple 5/4 quartersawn, 11/56 off center V profile (.915-.975), 7.25-9.5 compound radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Chocolate 3 tone sunburst; Pickups: Custom Shop P90 and handwound 51 Loaded Nocaster; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)
