This left handed Carter-Poulsen G-Model is a stunning guitar with superb tone. Hand built in Santa Cruz by Willie Carter and Eric Poulsen, this guitar features beautiful east Indian rosewood with a terrific bearclaw sitka spruce top. The dark rosewood is set off elegantly and subtly with red pernambuco binding and sycamore purfling, which imparts beautiful sparkling golden detail lines. The rosette is sycamore, as well. The shape is Carter-Poulsen’s take on a 14-fret 00 size, but with an innovative horizontal tone bar that transverses the lateral bracing. The guitar has great bass response, a pleasing midrange and crisp, clear trebles. Very comfortable neck and a short 24.9 scale. Remarkable guitar for recording. Carter-Poulsen guitars are gaining a strong following both domestically and internationally, and one strum will tell you why. Both Willie and Eric have their roots in the Santa Cruz Guitar Company.  With a custom Ameritage Carter-Poulsen hardshell case.
