These Gibson ES-330s are so lightweight and resonant, lots of fun to play with a tube amp and turn it up so they are just on the edge of feeding back. This one is in Gibson’s lovely sunset burst. P90s, maple/poplar/maple laminate hollowbody construction, rosewood fingerboard, Kluson tuners, trapeze tailpiece. Comfortable neck carve — not too slim, not too fat — with fingerboard bindings. Very lightweight. With hardshell case. Be aware that all of these 330s will buzz if you play them unplugged with the pickup selector in the middle position, due to the hollow construction and Switchcraft switch which vibrates if not parked to the bridge or the neck. Does not come through when amplified.

Gibson sez: “The new Gibson ES-330 in a Sunset Burst finish is designed with historic hollow-body features at heart. This impressive guitar incorporates modern enhancements like an ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles, and a hand-wired MTC control assembly paired to our MHS P-90 pickups with hum-canceling capabilities. The Vintage Style White Oval Button tuners and Thinline Trapeze tailpiece conjure a classic Gibson look.”
