  • Here is a 2007 Paul Reed Smith Private Stock McCarty, with a beautiful "blistered" quilted maple top, solid Brazilian rosewood neck, snakewood fingerboard, South American mahogany body, in a copperhead finish. The bird and Private Stock eagle inlays are snakewood with 14 karat gold outlines. Tuner buttons are snakewood as well. The guitar has McCarty pickups and electronics and a Custom 22 neck carve. Plays like a dream. Shows some play wear as you might expect on a 17-year-old instrument that has been well loved. Some oxidation of the gold hardware. Overall, a super nice and super cool guitar. With original case (shows its age) and certificate. Condition: Excellent; Body: Quilted maple top, mahogany core; Neck: Brazilian rosewood,  snakewood fretboard; Pickups: PRS McCarty; Scale: 25; Lefthanded guitar (of course)

  • Beautiful chocolate sunburst on this 58 Tele, and I love how the ash grain shows through. Lightly reliced and I am always a fan of the Fat 50s wiring on a Fender Custom Shop guitar.
Fender sez: "As the Telecaster progressed through the years there were updates to components, colors, neck shapes and more, but through it all it retained its classic look and signature snappy tone. The ’58 Telecaster Journeyman Relic embodies several of these classic changes in a faithful custom recreation. A two-piece select ash body wears a slightly worn-in Journeyman Relic lacquer finish for the look and feel of a well-played and loved guitar. The one-piece quartersawn maple neck has a 10/’56 “V” profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets. Dual Custom Shop hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups are connected to Fat ’50s Tele wiring and a three-way switch for robust Tele tone and transparent bloom with each note. I am having a blast playing this lightly reliced Fender Custom Shop Bass VI, the perfect hybrid between bass and guitar, with six strings tuned like a guitar, 62 Jaguar pickups and a short 30" scale. Sounds terrific through a regular guitar amp, as well as a bass amp, and it is super fun to play. • Patrick James Eggle builds wonderful boutique instruments in his shop in Oswestry, U.K. He uses the best of everything -- Callaham and Kluson hardware, Gotoh tuners, true lefty pots, Jescar 55090 frets (6105 found on Fenders and Gibsons) -- and does a beautiful thin open pore nitro finish on the swamp ash bodies for great tone on a very lightweight guitar. This example, in black with white grainfill --  is just under 7 pounds. The pickguard is brass with a unique hand patina. Neck is roasted AAA curly maple with a comfortable soft V profile and contoured heel. Patrick also reverses the control plate to make the volume pot more accessible for swells. Artists who have played Eggle guitars include Tommy Iommi, Albert Lee and Rory Gallagher. Handsome grey hardshell case. Just a terrific guitar. Very tempted to keep it for myself. (And maybe I will so hurry before I change my mind ; ) Condition: Mint; Body: Swamp ash; Neck: Roasted AAA maple, soft V profile, 12 radius; Nut: 1.680; Color: open pore grained black; Pickups: handwound Eggle Mojo; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Collings
    D2H

    $5,900.00

Here's a brand new Collings D2H. Nobody makes a more powerful dread than Collings does. I'll let Collings describe it:

"The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, we bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. The wide range of woods and neck sizes offered allow dreadnought fans to find a Collings model ideally suited to their playing style and tonal preference."

  • 1966 was the first full year of the larger headstock on the Stratocaster—a significant enlargement that notably changed the look of the guitar and, many believe, enhanced its resonance. Under new CBS ownership since the previous year, Fender production was still top notch, and the company was still producing highly sought-after, high-quality instruments. The Custom Shop 1966 Strat Deluxe Closet Classic re-creates the sought after large-headstock Strat in detail, with the perfect customizations for players and aficionados alike. The two-piece select alder body wears a polished but slightly aged Deluxe Closet Classic lacquer finish, while the quartersawn maple neck has a ’66 “oval C” profile, 9.5”-radius round-lam rosewood fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo (6150) frets for classic comfortable play. Custom Shop hand-wound ’65 Strat gray-bottom pickups (with reverse-wound/reverse polarity middle pickup) deliver thick tone, with Vintage Modified #2 wiring with Tone-Saver bleed circuitry and five-way switching, all on a three-ply parchment pickguard. Other features include a Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and wing string tree with nylon spacer. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: Deluxe Closet Classic; Body: Alder; Neck: 5/4 quartersawn maple, 66 Strat Oval C profile (.840-.974), 9.5 radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: 3 color sunburst; Pickups: handwound Vintage 65 Strat; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)
