Take a journey back to 1969 with the Fender Custom Shop 1969 Telecaster® NOS. This iconic electric guitar authentically recreates the look, sound and feel of the original workhorse Telecaster model from that era.
The body is crafted from premium 2-piece select ash with an offset seam and finished in a nitrocellulose lacquer for a vintage appearance and feel. The quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable ’60s Oval “C”-shaped profile and is topped with a 1-piece quartersawn maple fingerboard outfitted with 21 narrow tall frets.
For classic Tele tone, the guitar is equipped with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound ’67 single-coil pickup in the neck and bridge position. The pickups are routed through a 3-position blade switch for versatile tonal options. Master volume and tone controls and knurled chrome knobs round out the electronics package.
