• Here's a new Collings I-30 LC in faded cherry. Wonderful guitars, light as feathers, with true hollow construction and trestle bracing. C shape neck profile. Same size as the venerable I-35 -- slightly smaller and more comfortable than an ES-335. They just don’t get any better. Lifetime warranty from Collings and a deluxe Ameritage hardshell case. Serial I30LC24815 Collings sez: Our goal for the I-30 LC was to take the concept of a double cutaway, fully-hollow, P90 equipped guitar and refine it to the extent that it offers something truly new for today's players. The result is one of the most acoustically responsive and versatile electric guitars we have ever offered. The lightweight, "trestle" braced body of the I-30 LC has been refined through extensive R&D, and is the distillation of knowledge gleaned from our popular I-35 and Statesman LC series. The trestle brace design directly couples the neck and tail block, creating exceptional strength and acoustical energy transference, while also allowing for a lightness and responsiveness that is both a tactile and musical joy to experience. Playing the I-30 LC, you can easily feel the acoustic energy travel through the symmetric arches and re-curves of the top and back. These plates have been custom laminated and voiced for a tonality that is acoustic guitar-like in its resonance and dynamic response, but focused and feedback resistant enough to be utilized in jazz, blues, rock n' roll and many other styles. Our new custom designed trapeze tailpiece provides just the right amount of "give" for a relaxed string feel and effortless playability. Lollar Dog Ear P90s are perfectly matched to the instrument's acoustic response and offer a wide palette of tones from rich jazzy warmth to 1960's British Invasion style chime. Drawing its inspiration from both classic electric designs and our own previous models, the I-30 LC is an exciting step forward and an intriguing new Collings sound. Condition: New; Body: Maple laminate; Neck: Mahogany, rosewood fretboard, 12 radius; Nut: 1 11/16; Color: faded cherry; Pickups: Lollar Dog Ear P-90s; Scale: 24 7/8; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Collings
    D2H

    $6,200.00

Here's a brand new Collings D2H. Nobody makes a more powerful dread than Collings does. I'll let Collings describe it:

"The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, we bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. The wide range of woods and neck sizes offered allow dreadnought fans to find a Collings model ideally suited to their playing style and tonal preference."
Serial # 34943 Condition: New; Top: Sitka spruce; Back and sides: East Indian rosewood; Neck: Mahogany, ebony fingerboard; Nut: 1 11/16; Width: 15 5/8; Depth: 4 7/8; Scale: 25 1/2; Binding: Ivoroid with herringbone; Rosette: b/w/b; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Here's a new Collings I-35 LC Vintage in aged jet black. I’ve been lucky enough to play some very fine electric guitars, but in my mind there isn’t a finer semi-hollow guitar out there than the Collings I-35. And now they've made it even better: Collings sez: "After several years in development and numerous prototype iterations, we are excited to introduce an I-35 like you've never experienced before — the new I-35 LC Vintage. Drawing inspiration from the best instruments of the 1960s, our newest offering in the I-35 lineup provides an exceptionally loose and organic feel, achieved through a ground up reworking of everything from its laminate and center block recipes to its neck construction. Custom Throbak pickups and Bumblebee capacitors bring its open, acoustic response to life, expanding its versatility and proving that, although it looks every bit the part of a time-tested instrument, its appeal is more than just skin deep." Semi-hollow construction: In order to achieve the loose feel and dynamic response of a long-played vintage instrument, we fully reengineered our laminate and center block recipes for the I-35 LC Vintage. Electronics: Era-appropriate while delivering clarity at every volume is a set of Throbak ESG-102B humbuckers tweaked to a custom Collings spec specifically for the I-35 LC Vintage, all complemented by a set of Luxe Bumblebee capacitors. Aged Finish and Hardware: Every I-35 LC Vintage sports our aged finish and aged hardware, an in-house developed process designed to give a truly time-worn look and feel. An altered truss rod curve and carefully chosen materials specific to the Vintage based on grain orientation, weight, and density are just a couple of the aspects that contribute to its expressive and organic feel and tone. Vintage Appointments: Gold or black reflector top knobs and a wide-bevel 3-ply pickgurard complement the aged finish and hardware and three vintage-inspired color options. They just don’t get any better. Lifetime warranty from Collings and a deluxe hardshell case. Serial # I35LC252475 Condition: New, aged; Body: Maple laminate; Neck: Mahogany, rosewood fretboard, 12 radius; Nut: 1 11/16; Color: Aged jet black; Pickups: Throbak; Scale: 24 7/8; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • I love small bodied acoustics, and this is one of my favorites. This C10 from Collings offers great tone in  a small, comfortable package.  Crisp trebles, substantial lows, and beautifully balanced. A great blues guitar, strumming guitar, and equally responsive to some dynamic finger picking, thanks to its narrow waist and small upper bout for focused response, and pre-war scalloped bracing. This example is customized with a 1 3/4 nut, tigerstripe pickguard and a gorgeous dark sunburst.  Ebony fretboard, pins and bridge, bone nut and saddle. Collings says this is the ideal guitar for players who switch between electrics and acoustics, because the neck carve is the same rounded profile that you’ll find on the venerable Collings 290 electric, and the heel is small and rounded for excellent access to the upper frets. I agree. Big tone in a small package. Bravo. Lifetime warranty and hardshell Collings case. Serial #34753 Condition: New; Top: Select sitka spruce; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: Mahogany, medium-fat C neck carve; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 14 3/4; Depth: 4 1/4; Scale: 25.5; Binding: Grained ivoroid; Purfling: b/w wood; Rosette: Ivoroid; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)
