I love Teles with humbuckers at the neck -- it's instant Keef -- and this one is no expection. This is a 2023 build, lightly used, in a distinctive orange sparkle finish. A Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker at the neck brings the rock, and a handwound bridge pickup potted in lacquer gives you enough bite to match it. Since this is a humbucker equipped Tele, it has a DualStack HS Tele volume pot. Great Tele through your favorite tube amp. Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, plus the strap and usual extras. Condition: Relic; Body: Ash; Neck: Maple rift sawn, NoCaster U (.860-.920), 9.5 radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Faded aged orange sparkle; Pickups: handwound "Chicago Special" bridge, Duncan Antiquity humbucker; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • New for 2023, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the '59 250K Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic. 65 years after the model debuted in 1958, this striking 1959 model is loaded with looks, sound and vibe that expertly evoke the Jazzmaster in its original era, plus some modern modification discerning players will appreciate. The sleek two-piece select ash body wears a Closet Classic lacquer finish in desert sand. This special treatment imparts the look of a guitar that has changed hands or been handed down over the years, mostly played around the house and the occasional jam session or weekend gig. This generally well-cared-for look includes light finish checking. The look of a very lucky find, in short. The 5/4 quartersawn maple neck has a '62-style Jazzmaster "C" profile, topped by a compound 7.25-9.5"-radius flat-lam AAA rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium vintage (47095) frets and a bone nut. To add more vintage flair, there's a single-ply gold anodized aluminum pickguard (a prized early Jazzmaster appointment), two Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Jazzmaster Pickups with a three-way pickup switch, vintage dual-circuit (lead/rhythm) wiring and, in a special modern touch, 250k volume and tone potentiometers that enhance tone and playability. Other premium features include a Fender "floating vibrato" tailpiece with a modern Custom Shop RSD (Research Special Design) bridge for greater sustain and tuning stability, vintage-style tuners, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: New, closet classic; Body: Ash; Neck: Riftsawn maple, 62 Jazzmaster profile (.820/.900), 7.25-9.5 compound radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Desert sand; Pickups: handwound Jazzmaster flat magnet; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

    Duesenberg
    Gran Majesto

    $3,695.00
Here's a brand new lefty Duesenberg Gran Majesto. Duesenberg no longer builds these guitars, but I was able to snag the last two lefties they built. Great guitars. Love the four-way switching on these. A full-sized guitar, with set neck, semi-hollow with sustain block and F-holes, and the terrific combination of their Domino P90 and the Grand Vintage humbucker is a total winner. This guitar has a nice visual twist with the matching Phonic pickup covers, but also an tonal twist with a 4 way rotary switch that gives you four distinct tones.  The feel and playability is second to none. Beautiful deep Catalina green sparkle finish. As Duesenberg says: "The Gran Majesto's 45mm sides and semi-hollow construction, featuring a solid centerblock, provide you with typical Duesenberg flexibility from clean to rock tones and even further. Our new open style tuners allow for smooth tuning and weight reduction on the headstock and the new Phonico pickup line is love for both your ears and your eyes.  Additionally, the Gran Majesto features twin F-holes, a floating pickguard and our new 4-way rotary switch which adds a new variation to the way we combine pickups. " With Duesenberg's typical impeccable build and high-quality case, a handy multi-tool and, of course, a set of Duesenberg band-aids because you will, in fact, play this till your fingers bleed. Condition: New; Body: Spruce top, laminated maple; Color: Catalina Green; Pickups: Duesenberg humbucker and P-90; Scale: 25.5; Radius: 12

Here's a brand-new National Resophonic El Trovador, single cone resonator in mahogany. National's build quality is, as always, off the charts and I love these round neck resonators that are equally at home with a slide or a flatpick. I'll let National describe it: "Its Spanish name translates as “The Troubador,” and this wood-body single-cone National has been popular with musicians ever since its debut in 1932. This reissue was designed in collaboration with renowned blues and swing guitarist Mike Dowling. Like the original, our El Trovador features a large, four-inch-deep body constructed of mahogany — a wood famed for its sonic properties. A wooden soundwell houses the resonator, adding to the unique sound projection. The body is bound in multi-layer celluloid, with a matching purfling border around the classic coverplate. An ebony fretboard is mated to the solid mahogany neck, which is capped by a rosewood headstock overlay. With its rich, deep, warm tone, our El Trovador is one of National’s most popular guitars among troubadors everywhere." Condition: New; Top: Mahogany; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: mahogany, ebony fretboard, ivoroid binding; Resonator: single; Bridge: Biscuit; Nut: 1 3/4 bone;  Depth: 4; Scale: 25 21/32; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

    Collings
    CJ-45 Traditional

    $5,995.00
Near-mint and lightly played Collings CJ-45 Traditional. If you can handle the full C carve on it, I can't think of a better slope shoulder dread out there. With original hardshell case. Gorgeous guitar. Opened up and actually better than when it was brand new to my ears. Sounds like a piano. Collings' latest offering is a Traditional update on their terrific slope-shouldered CJ series. Very impressive guitar with some nice touches, including a gold mother of pearl Collings logo, a stout full C neck carve and typical Collings attention to detail. I'll let them describe it: "As with all of our Traditional Series guitars, when it came time to add a “T” designation to our slope-shoulder offerings, we didn’t simply tweak the original; the all-new Collings CJ-45 T is a fully re-imagined instrument that offers a distinct tonal variation when compared to our CJ and CJ-35 models. Strongly vintage-inspired, the body construction has been completely re-engineered, including new bracing carves and patterns. When combined with our latest T-Series neck design and new CJ-45 neck profile, the result showcases a tone that is exceptionally dry and fundamental with the growl and thump sought after in the great slope-shoulder dreads of the Wartime era."
Bracing: Behind the scenes but foundational to an acoustic guitar’s tone is its bracing. While the CJ-45 T shares the same body shape as our other CJ models, its top and back Wartime X-bracing is entirely different in layout, profile, and carve, resulting in a dry and direct fundamental with quick decay that significantly expands the line’s tonal range. Traditional Series Finish: As with every Collings Traditional instrument, the all-nitrocellulose finish on the CJ-45 T is ultra-thin, providing an unmatched response and resonance when paired with its lightweight T-Series build and materials. Flat Back Design: The CJ-45 T incorporates an exceptionally flat back design compared to other Collings flat tops, a feature which enhances the instrument’s direct, forward tone, pronounced midrange, and strongly vintage-inspired voice. Neck Profile: With its full C-shape, the new neck profile on our CJ-45 T is substantial in terms of both feel and its contributions to tone and response while also benefiting from the adjustable flat bar design and construction techniques of our most recent Traditional Series necks. Rosewood Fingerboard: Hand-selected for tonal warmth and vintage vibe, every CJ-45 T features an Indian rosewood fingerboard with elegantly tapered mother-of-pearl long dot inlays. Rosette: Unique to the CJ-45 T are its fully exposed rosette and shortened, 19-fret fingerboard, an aesthetic which makes it instantly recognizable among the Collings lineup.
Serial # 31730 Condition: Near mint; Top: Sitka spruce; Back and sides: Honduran mahogany; Neck: Mahogany, Full C profile, rosewood fingerboard; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 16; Depth: 4 7/8; Scale: 24 7/8; Binding: Ivoroid; Rosette: b/w/b; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

    Froggy Bottom
    H12 Deluxe

    $7,495.00
Well cared for and well loved one-owner Froggy Bottom H12. I ordered this guitar for the original owner 10 years ago. These are some of my all time favorite guitars. This one has opened up beautifully. In near mint condition, two tiny dimples in the top and one in the back. The H12 is the most popular guitar that Froggy Bottom builds, and one strum will tell you why. Sparkling trebles, a nice, round low end and terrific projection. Short 25 scale. Responsive to the slightest touch but ready to bark. This lefty Deluxe features a red Adirondack spruce top over beautifully figured East Indian rosewood back and sides. Highly figured maple binding, slotted headstock, Gabon ebony fingerboard, water buffalo bone nut and saddle and nickel Waverly tuners. The grand concert size body is comfortable and resonant. They just don’t get any better. Take it from an H12 owner on his introduction to the guitar: “I played the first chord, and it was like … OH MY GOD … you could feel the thing in your chest! It was such a difference – I couldn’t – it was beyond description. And I’ve been hooked ever since.” With original AVS hardshell case. Condition: Excellent, near mint; Top: Red adirondack spruce; Back and sides: East Indian rosewood, abalone stripe; Neck: Mahogany, pattern 5 abalone inlay, gold Waverly tuners; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 15; Depth: 4.25; Scale: 25; Binding: Flamed maple; Purfling: b/w/b; Rosette: Abalone; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • I love Teles and it's alway cool when Fender builds one with a different twist to it. Here is a Thinline P90 relic in a chocolate 3 tone sunburst with some cool features ... Fender Custom Shop P90 at the neck and handwound 51 loaded NoCaster pickup at the bridge gives some great tonal options. A compound 7.25-9.5 radius gives you the best of both worlds up and down the neck, and the fat offcenter V profile brings the tone with medium vintage frets. The hollow body with an F-hole keeps the weight down --  Nice and light at 6 3/4 pounds. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: New, relic; Body: Ash; Neck: Maple 5/4 quartersawn, 11/56 off center V profile (.915-.975), 7.25-9.5 compound radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Chocolate 3 tone sunburst; Pickups: Custom Shop P90 and handwound 51 Loaded Nocaster; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

    Duesenberg
    Caribou

    $3,460.00
A wonderful lefty offering from Duesenberg, featuring a chambered alder body, set neck and Duesenberg’s wonderful Domino P-90 at the neck and Grand Vintage humbucker at the bridge. Tones to die for … the middle position in particular is wonderful. Impeccable build, high-quality gig-bag, and even a set of Duesenberg band-aids because you will, in fact, play until your fingers bleed. Duesenberg sez: "The Caribou is a chambered, dual pickup, 22 fret electric guitar, featuring a Cat Eye F-Hole and a 647mm scale. It is also available as a 12-string edition. The Caribou is made from solid Alder in which we route large sound chambers. The body is then fitted with a flat maple top featuring a modern Cat Eye F-Hole. The large sound chambers make this construction a crossover between a solidbody and a semi-hollow construction, resulting in a unique tonal character and resonance. The Caribou is fitted with our proven Duesenberg pickup combination, comprising of the classicly wound GrandVintage humbucker for the bridge and the warm and creamy Domino P90 singlecoil. The middle position of both pickups features a special wiring, which splits certain low end frequencies out of the humbucker's signal, resulting in an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds. The Caribou 12-string edition is equipped with two Domino P90 singlecoils. All our instruments are fitted with our own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. We design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates. All our fretboards are carefully pleked and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for. Additionally, our Diamond Deluxe Tremola proved to be one of the best of its kind, providing buttery operation and outstanding tuning stability."
