Here’s an unplayed Pre War Guitars Co. Double Aught (00) in rare and coveted Brazilian rosewood, torrified Adirondack top, Honduran mahogany neck, back and sides, with herringbone binding. Lightest level of aging, beautifully checked and worn-in just right. Two-way truss rod, hide glue, dovetail neck joint, torrified bracing, ebony fretboard and bridge bone nut and saddle, and a hardshell case. I have a personal single 0 in Brazilian rosewood from these guys and I will never part with it. Remarkable guitars. They are prized by artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Jackson Browne, David Grisman and Molly Tuttle, and they are approaching a 3 year wait on new orders.  Terrific guitar. And, best of all, no waiting!

Pre-War Guitars Co. sez: “For many players, the double aught size gives the perfect balance of projection and depth, packed into the size most likely to get picked up for a jam in the living room. With a 24.9” scale and body right between the single 0 and triple 0, the double aught is perfect for finger-style, blues, or accompanying a singer with a surprising amount of bass, punch, and volume that belies it’s comfortable size. We utilize hot hide glue for all of the bracing as well as in our perfectly fit traditional dovetail neck joints. We use Torrefied tops and hand carved Torrefied brace wood for their dry-aged tone. You get a guitar with the soul, sound, and look of a well-loved vintage instrument, but with the price, adjust-ability, and reliability of a modern guitar.”
