2016 Dove Quilt

Here’s a 2016 limited edition Gibson Custom Shop Dove in quilted maple, with a beautiful honey burst. These were limited to 50 guitars, so likely to be one of a very few lefties in existence. Traditional Dove appointments … short 24.75 scale, ornate rosewood bridge with inlays, split parallelogram fingerboard inlays, back center seam marquetry, crown “pineapple” headstock inlay, and, of course, the intricate dove pickguard. The guitar is in excellent condition; the thick pickguard is lifting very slightly at the corner by the neck, as they tend to do, and at some point it looks like someone changed out the tuners, although the guitar has the correct Grovers, there is a faint ring around the poles on the headstock overlay. Baggs undersaddle pickup and original hardshell case. Typical low action and classic Gibson tone. Nice guitar.
