  • Here's a new Huss and Dalton Traditional OM in east Indian rosewood with a thermo-cured (torrified) sitka spruce top, Gotoh 510 tuners and a handsome tweed case. Always one of my favorites OMs, and the build quality is second to none. Everybody knows that like a fine wine, well-kept acoustic guitars get better with age. The passage of decades cures the wood through exposure to light and air. Huss and Dalton now offers sitka spruce that has been “torrified,” or exposed to a careful heating process that achieves the same results that occur naturally over time. The wood appears darker, as vintage guitars do, and it is lighter and stiffer. But how does it sound? Amazing, in a word. Condition: New; Top: Sitka spruce, torrified; Back and sides: East Indian rosewood; Neck: Mahogany; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 15 1/8; Depth: 4 1/8; Scale: 25.4; Binding: Tortoise; Purfling: b/w/b; Rosette: b/w/b; Lefthanded guitar (of course)

  • I love Teles and it's alway cool when Fender builds one with a different twist to it. Here is a Thinline P90 relic in a chocolate 3 tone sunburst with some cool features ... Fender Custom Shop P90 at the neck and handwound 51 loaded NoCaster pickup at the bridge gives some great tonal options. A compound 7.25-9.5 radius gives you the best of both worlds up and down the neck, and the fat offcenter V profile brings the tone with medium vintage frets. The hollow body with an F-hole keeps the weight down --  Nice and light at 6 3/4 pounds. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: New, relic; Body: Ash; Neck: Maple 5/4 quartersawn, 11/56 off center V profile (.915-.975), 7.25-9.5 compound radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Chocolate 3 tone sunburst; Pickups: Custom Shop P90 and handwound 51 Loaded Nocaster; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • I was super excited to become a dealer and order these Iris guitars ... hand made in Vermont under the seasoned watch of Adam Buchwald (formerly with Froggy Bottom) and Dale Fairbanks (Fairbanks Guitars), simply yet elegantly appointed with satin finishes, with a nod to vintage depression era flattop tones and at a very reasonable price point. This is the DF model (named after Dale Fairbanks) a slope shouldered dread. This one is customized as a 12-fret deep body Smeck burst with a 1 3/4 nut and firestripe pickguard. Beautiful sunburst.  Scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing, a bolt-on mortise and tenon neck, 2 7/32 bridge spacing, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, open pore sating nitrocellulose finish, bone nut and saddle and Golden Age relic brass tuners. With TKL case. Here is a nice demo from The North American Guitar:
Condition: New; Top: Sitka spruce; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: Mahogany; Nut: 1 3/4; Width: 16 1/4; Depth: 4 7/8; Scale: 25; Binding: Ivoroid; Purfling: b/w/b; Rosette: ivoroid; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • In the formative years following the Stratocaster's groundbreaking debut in 1954, it saw slight tweaks and modifications that helped firmly establish its legacy as the finest electric guitar ever made. The Vintage Custom 1955 Stratocaster has some cool, rare features that we feel represent the best of the origins of the Strat® and gives you a glimpse into the innovations that were crucial in its development. The NOS flash-coat lacquer finish lets the guitar breathe and shows some of the natural grain through its finish. The neck features a vintage 7.25"-9.5" compound radius, which we found on some rare examples, giving it a unique feel even among vintage-inspired models. It also features medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than standard vintage size and very comfortable to play. Other features found on this guitar include Closet Classic hardware, a 2-piece ash body, tinted maple rift-sawn neck with a '54 "U"-shaped neck profile, 21 medium vintage frets, hand-wound '55 Strat pickups with transitional '54 covers, 5-way switch, vintage wiring, hardtail bridge, bone nut, round string tree and vintage-style tuning machines. National Resophonic
    El Trovador

Original price was: $5,000.00.Current price is: $4,500.00.
Here's a brand-new National Resophonic El Trovador, single cone resonator in mahogany. National's build quality is, as always, off the charts and I love these round neck resonators that are equally at home with a slide or a flatpick. I'll let National describe it: "Its Spanish name translates as “The Troubador,” and this wood-body single-cone National has been popular with musicians ever since its debut in 1932. This reissue was designed in collaboration with renowned blues and swing guitarist Mike Dowling. Like the original, our El Trovador features a large, four-inch-deep body constructed of mahogany — a wood famed for its sonic properties. A wooden soundwell houses the resonator, adding to the unique sound projection. The body is bound in multi-layer celluloid, with a matching purfling border around the classic coverplate. An ebony fretboard is mated to the solid mahogany neck, which is capped by a rosewood headstock overlay. With its rich, deep, warm tone, our El Trovador is one of National’s most popular guitars among troubadors everywhere." Condition: New; Top: Mahogany; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: mahogany, ebony fretboard, ivoroid binding; Resonator: single; Bridge: Biscuit; Nut: 1 3/4 bone;  Depth: 4; Scale: 25 21/32; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

It is also available as a 12-string edition. The Caribou is made from solid Alder in which we route large sound chambers. The body is then fitted with a flat maple top featuring a modern Cat Eye F-Hole. • Here is a very rare 1976 Travis Bean TB1000 Artist guitar, one of, as far as I can discern, just four original lefty Beans ever built. (There was also a lefty bass made.) Built with machined aluminum necks with the pickups attached directly to the metal, these guitars are noted for their sustain and, of course, stability. They are also on the heavy side, which also adds to the sustain. The Artist model features a carved top (the Standard was a slab). The 1000 guitars have humbuckers, as opposed to the single coils found on the 500s. Scale is 25.5 and radius is 12. Terrific guitar. Doubt you'll see another vintage lefty Bean out there. This guitar was built for a touring Australian musician and includes the original case, plastered with stickers from his band. It is in perfect playing condition, the koa body bear some road wear, as you might expect, there was a split in the wood which was repaired (and not uncommon for solid koa bodies) ... since the guitar is basically aluminum from the bridge to the headstock, the split had no effect on the structure of the instrument. Rare find and a great guitar. Notable Bean players include Jerry Garcia (1975-77), Keith Richard, Ronnie Wood, Slash, Ace Frehley, Stanley Jordan, Joe Perry and John Mayer.

  • Here's a beautiful Rick Turner Guitars Renaissance RS6 steel string electric acoustic. I ordered this one with a 1 3/4 nut and satin finish. The guitar has some nicely figured mahogany back and sides, terrific top, mahogany neck and an ipe (Brazilian walnut) fingerboard. The back of the headstock is signed by the late legendary Rick Turner himself. If you play acoustic guitar live, you're familiar with the challenges of getting a natural acoustic tone amplified to stage volumes without being plagued by feedback. All the mics, preamps and EQs in the world are rarely up to dealing with a loud monitor pointing at your soundhole. The thinline RS6 is built like an acoustic but has a mahogany center block to resist feedback. A Turner Timberline bridge pickup feeds a full-spectrum signal to an 18-volt D-TAR preamp with graduated volume and tone controls. The preamp runs off two AA batteries, easily accessible via the back panel. I have tested this at loud monitor volumes and it works great straight into the board. Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) loves his Turner guitars and plays a Renaissance live. These guitars also sound great through a conventional guitar amp. With locking tuners, Access padded case and Timberline electronics. Condition: New; Top: Mahogany; Back and sides: Mahogany; Neck: Mahogany with ipe (brazilian walnut) fingerboard; Nut: 1 3/4; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)
