  • I love Teles and it's alway cool when Fender builds one with a different twist to it. Here is a Thinline P90 relic in a chocolate 3 tone sunburst with some cool features ... Fender Custom Shop P90 at the neck and handwound 51 loaded NoCaster pickup at the bridge gives some great tonal options. A compound 7.25-9.5 radius gives you the best of both worlds up and down the neck, and the fat offcenter V profile brings the tone with medium vintage frets. The hollow body with an F-hole keeps the weight down --  Nice and light at 6 3/4 pounds. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: New, relic; Body: Ash; Neck: Maple 5/4 quartersawn, 11/56 off center V profile (.915-.975), 7.25-9.5 compound radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Chocolate 3 tone sunburst; Pickups: Custom Shop P90 and handwound 51 Loaded Nocaster; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • Here's a sweet 58 relic Strat in natural blonde with my personal favorite Fat 50s pickups. Fender sez: 1958 was the final year of the original one-piece maple neck before Leo Fender switched to a glued-on “slab” rosewood fingerboard, which significantly changed the look and tone of Fender instruments. Many players swear by the one-piece maple for its tone and stability, which is what makes 1958 such a sought-after year for the Strat. The ’58 Strat Relic is a nod to that year in all its glory, with several custom mods. A two-piece select alder body wears a Relic lacquer finish, while the resonant one-piece quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable 1954-style “soft V” profile, 9.5 fingerboard radius and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets. Custom Shop hand-wound Fat ’50s pickups are connected to Vintage Modified #2 wiring with Tone-Saver bleed circuitry and five-way switching, creating a thick, balanced tone at any volume. Other features include a single-ply eggshell pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and wing string tree. Also includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. Condition: Relic; Body: Alder; Neck: 5/4 quartersawn maple 54 Strat Soft V (.850-.980), 9.5 radius; Nut: 1.650; Color: Natural Blonde; Pickups: handwound Fat 50s; Scale: 25.5; Orientation: Lefthanded (of course)

  • New for 2023, the Fender Custom Shop introduces the '59 250K Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic. 65 years after the model debuted in 1958, this striking 1959 model is loaded with looks, sound and vibe that expertly evoke the Jazzmaster in its original era, plus some modern modification discerning players will appreciate. The sleek two-piece select ash body wears a Closet Classic lacquer finish in faded aged Daphne blue. This special treatment imparts the look of a guitar that has changed hands or been handed down over the years, mostly played around the house and the occasional jam session or weekend gig. This generally well-cared-for look includes light finish checking. The look of a very lucky find, in short. The 5/4 quartersawn maple neck has a '62-style Jazzmaster "C" profile, topped by a compound 7.25-9.5"-radius flat-lam AAA rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium vintage (47095) frets and a bone nut. To add more vintage flair, there's a single-ply gold anodized aluminum pickguard (a prized early Jazzmaster appointment), two Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Jazzmaster Pickups with a three-way pickup switch, vintage dual-circuit (lead/rhythm) wiring and, in a special modern touch, 250k volume and tone potentiometers that enhance tone and playability. Other premium features include a Fender "floating vibrato" tailpiece with a modern Custom Shop RSD (Research Special Design) bridge for greater sustain and tuning stability, vintage-style tuners, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity. • In the formative years following the Stratocaster's groundbreaking debut in 1954, it saw slight tweaks and modifications that helped firmly establish its legacy as the finest electric guitar ever made. The Vintage Custom 1955 Stratocaster has some cool, rare features that we feel represent the best of the origins of the Strat® and gives you a glimpse into the innovations that were crucial in its development. The NOS flash-coat lacquer finish lets the guitar breathe and shows some of the natural grain through its finish. The neck features a vintage 7.25"-9.5" compound radius, which we found on some rare examples, giving it a unique feel even among vintage-inspired models. It also features medium vintage frets, which are slightly larger than standard vintage size and very comfortable to play. Other features found on this guitar include Closet Classic hardware, a 2-piece ash body, tinted maple rift-sawn neck with a '54 "U"-shaped neck profile, 21 medium vintage frets, hand-wound '55 Strat pickups with transitional '54 covers, 5-way switch, vintage wiring, hardtail bridge, bone nut, round string tree and vintage-style tuning machines. The Vintage Custom 1955 Stratocaster is the legendary guitar you know and love with some rare "what could have been" flair. Includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
